Our 28th Annual Madeiran Culture Week

Opening Night – Friday, May 22 

Starting at 7 pm

Ceremony begins with the traditional hoisting of the flags and the singing of the Canadian and Portuguese National Anthems. Sung by our very own Jonathan Garcia.

Come visit to our exhibition “Madeira of Honor”

Displaying embroidery and making of wickerwork by handicrafts Terezinha and John Freitas.

Food – Buffet style service.

Special performance from our very own Folklore Group.

Sound and lighting provided by DJ Electro Sound.

ENTRY IS FREE

Second Night – Saturday, May 23

Starting 7pm

Dinner Menu: Soup, Salad and Roast Beef with Potatoes, Rice, Vegetables, and Dessert, Coffee or Tea.

Special performances from our very own Folklore Group and featured artist Décio Gonçalves.

Sound and lights by: DJ Electro Sound. Please make your reservation ahead of time.

Adult Entry $ 30 – Member Entry $ 25 – Child (5-12 years) $ 10.
